Soo annoyed with BEST BUY!

So on Thanksgiving I ordered DH a flat screen TV for christmas from best buy! they were having crazy sales so I thought why not! same prices as in store, free shipping! sweet! well when i ordered it, they said the first avaiable delivery date would be December 16th (today!!) so i got my email comfirmations saying dec 16. They also said i would get a call the day before giving me a time frame that it would be delivered because someone has to be home when it is delivered cuz its 50 inch tv they are not going to leave that on the front pourch...well i had it delivered to my parents house cuz i knew i wouldnt be home and they would def not leave it on my apt. stoop!

I got my confirmation phone call yesterday saying they would be there between 2 and 4. My mom switched her day off so that she would be home today!
well i get a call from my mom at 4:30 saying no TV...

so i called the delivery distribution center who called me yesterday to confirm and oh apparently the TV is backordered and they changed my delivery date to Jan 5th!! umm hi! why couldnt i get a phone call informing me that!!!!!

I get its a busy season blah blah blah! but my mom took off work special to be home! now another day off has to be taken in january! and who knows if it will even be delivered then!!!!

And oh get this im on the website and the tv i ordered says nothing that its back ordered...so if i ordered it again today it says that the next possible ship date is DEC 22!! WHAT??
because i got a sale price my tv has to ship in JAN!! i ordered it on NOV 26 what the heck!!!

IVE been on hold for over an hour, filing complaints and all to just get an attitude from the delivery distribution center!
at least the guy i called to file the complain was nice!

oh and i had DH in the backgroung going 'but mommy why wont there be a christmas this year? i thought santa comes every year, i was a good boy' lol!

I had the same problem with them!! It wasn't a TV but I ordered something for my ipod online, everything was fine then 2 days later I get an email saying they no longer have the product when It was still listed on the website! I ended up just getting the money back.

I will never order from them online again! I waited almost three weeks for a blu ray player that I should have just picked up at the store! it was free shipping so I was being lazy. And their customer service stinks!

Why dont you see if they have it in stock in one of the stores and make them change it to a 'store pick-up'??

Oh that is so annoying!!!! I HATE BEST BUY!!! Don't even get me started about when my laptop had to be fixed..kept promising me it would be ready on such a date and it took a month to get back! I still remember the night I went to go pick it up..they told me to come right down they are just finishing up..( I lived 10 mins from there) THEN i get there and they told me to come back that they close at 9..I yelled at them making a scene in the store and demanded to see a manager I told them I wasn't moving and I'll stay right here till it's ready...lol

I say Make your voice heard! Thed Screwed up they should offer you some compensation for the inconveinance!!!
