omg such work im like a single mother, DH has been working and i haven't had any time to do the things i need to do, the puppy wants my constant attention!
but i really shouldn't complain cause he is SOOOOO adorable and sleeps sooo cute, and actually slept though the night last night
but yeah im exhausted...and i dont plan on having kids for like 5 years now! hah

its crazy how much attention they need! its def like having a kid. But once you get them trained it will be worth it!

I know... its a full time job. I have to watch her constantly. Today she climbed out of her play pen so now I can't even put her in there anymore. Its exhausting. With DH away I actually decided to stay at my parents so we could tag team her while I get Christmas stuff done. But she is so cute.

Ahhh you are right! our puppy got up every 3/4 hours, every night, for a MONTH!
and i felt like an idiot being like 'im tired because my dog wont sleep'.
good luck!!! I promise they stay cute and start sleeping in another week or two!!!

Having a puppy is work, I know this.
We got Mojo in July and luckily for me, I was just laid off so I had all the time to train him. It took me a week or so to train him. But yes, I totally can relate- they are like the child of the family. It is overwhelming in the beginning but once hes trained, it will be easy.

Coll you know I have been through it with 2 pups and a kid, . I NEVER said it would be easy But in the end it is ALL worth it

It is seriously like having a baby. Don't worry it gets better once they get into a routine. I felt the same way when we got our lab back in 05. We were both in college, and I was working on the weekends, DH played baseball & wasn't home that much. Hang in there. I was getting no sleep it was tough, but it is worth it.

i swear a puppy is almost more work that a kid!! lol growing up we always had dogs, but i was always a kid sooo i never really had to do anything besides playing with the thing...well my mom a few years ago decided she wanted a puppy, and oh is he the cutest thing, but i dont know how many times i wanted my parents to give him away! lol
good luck! they just get cuter and easier to deal with! one he is trained and use to everything!

Coll he is SO amazingly cute!!!!! The first week is HELLL!!! Like I told Michelle lol. But you will get through it!!! They are one of the smartest breeds ever, and most active and needing stimulation/play/exercise. SO awesome!!! Woohoo!!!

Run him around for a while.. he will take a loooong nap! Thats what I do!
If you really want to tire the pup out we can meet up and have ours play together. My dog could run for hours.. they will both sleep very well that night!
