sorry but I really need to complain

I hate my job! My co-workers have no personalities, my supervisor is a nasty little troll, & the work itself is hectic & enough to drive anyone to the nut house.

We are in our busy season & for the past 3 weeks I have been getting home from the office at about 9:30 & this weekend I tired to bring home some work to catch up but I just couldn't focus.

Am I insane that I totally want to make a career change & be an Admin? I just want a real 9-5 job. I know they exist somewhere out there.

Right now I work in production in the apparel industry & I just want to call in sick & never go back in.

So Sorry about your frustration at work.
If you are Not Happy, then I feel like you should be Happy.
If you are not Happy with what you do, you find yourself Miserable, not wanting to go into work at ALL.

I know it's a BIg Thing, but Go for it.
Make the career Change.

I really want to but I may need to quit before I find another job b/c it is just that bad. I just hate the idea of putting all of the financial burden on DH.

Are there any admins out there? How do you like it? Can you leave work at work most of the time?

ETA : I am a recpetionist now with admin responsibilites. I do get to leave at lunch for n hour but otherwise I am chained to my desk from 8:30am to 5pm because God forbid someoneI miss a call due to me not being at the desk. Think the scene in the Devil wears Prada where Anne Hathaway gets told she can't pee lol.
