Sorry its been a while...

Hi ladies - I'm taking a study break and just wanted to hop on and to tell you I've been checking in every week to see how everyone is doing... I'm so excited for all the new expecting moms & house owners, etc!!

For those of you who don't know me, or forgot about me, I was married in December (over 9 months already!!!) - My wedding became very rushed in the end because we moved the date when my FIL became very sick. This board was a lifesaver for me when that happened. Anyway, I was a regular on the board for months after the wedding and once summer came I got crazy with grad school & teaching summer school - so I had to go 'cold turkey' to kill my addiction to LIW.

I'm busier than ever now that the school year has started again, but I wanted to say hi to everyone. After summer school, hubby and I went camping for 18 days and spent some very much needed quality time together - he's in a very deep depression since FIL passed and it's been difficult on both of us. He's also still not working - so that is taking its toll also.... But we are in love and always there to support each other...

I brought some wedding pix to my MIL's house this weekend and hubby will scan them tonight, so i can finally use the new pic feature!

Anyway, I hope to see you all more often in the coming months!

I'm sorry your husband is depressed over his Dad. It must be very hard to get over the death of a parent. He is so lucky to have such a loving, supportive wife!

I'm glad you posted, and I hope you can continue. Can't wait to see pictures!!!

So glad to see you've come back and posted. I can totally relate to a crazy, hectic schedule. I hope things smooth out for you, and I hope the best for your family. The loss of a loved one is always difficult. I can't even begin to imagine just how hard this must be, but I do send along my support and thoughts.

Definitely stay in touch .. and if you have time Monday, a group of us are getting together at the TGI Friday's in Huntington at the corner of Route 110 and Jericho Tpk around 6 and later.

Of course I remember you .. ! I've been thinking about you - I'm so glad that you wrote in to say 'hi'!

Glad to have you back on board ... I'm not as active as I once was but do pop my head in here pretty frequently!

Good Luck with all your studies and I can't wait to see the pictures. I need to scan mine in too - we just got a scanner!
