Ok, so when you are about to move out and you give 30dys to ur landlord therefore they can start showing the apartment..do they have to consult with me first to start showing? Can they just use their key to come in if Im not home? What are the rules that the landlord has to follow when showing an apartment that is still currently occupied?
Thanks!

Re: Sorry ladies..another apartment question
We have always rented out our apartment downstairs and it is my understanding that in the last 30 days before you move out, it is the landlords right to enter and show the apartment. It would be courteous of them to check with you and make sure you're home, but they don't have to.
Are you on good terms with them?

I suppose we are. I mean we arent close but I def. pay my rent on time and we are not problamatic. I just see this as being a problem because I have two dogs and theres no way they will let anyone else in without barking at them...grrr..we'll lets see what happens.
