LOVE this idea.....but would you be able to part with your dress??
The pictures come out AMAZING and I would SO LOVE to do it...I even e-mailed rae barnes photography to get pricing but when it comes down to it, I don't know if I could 'trash my dress', I mean I guess I could just take it to the cleaner after (it's not like I'd ever wear it again)
Maybe a good one year anniversary thing to do....

i love my gown too much....BUT if i could just go to david's brida $99 sale and get some crap dress just to trash--i'd totally do it!

I totally agree!! While I wouldnt mind trashing my gown..> I have NO IDEA what you do with 'look at me in the water in my dress' pictures!

I'm thinking about doing it. I'm trying to lose weight, for one thing, and I was thinking I might do it at the end of the summer. I love my gown, but I'm not that attached to it. I was thinking of donating it anyway, although my mom and aunt have tried to talk me into saving it to make into a bassinet for the baby we might have. Might have, being the issue. I don't know if we're having kids ( age and health issues.) So...I'm thinking about it! I was also thinking of doing a lingerie shoot for my husband, and thinking of combining the two--one of the reasons it would be after I lose weight!

The photo shoot looks like a blast, although I couldn't do it to my dress. I can definitely understand the reason for doing it. The wedding planning is so stressful, sometimes it feels like a uncontrollable monster that's taken on a life of its own. Trashing the wedding dress symbolizes conquering the monster!

i could never do it either and i think DH would kill me! Hes more attached to my dress than i am.
