Speaking of enlargements- who got 16x20?

I picked up mine last week...and I know I want to have it custom framed/matted.

What size frame did you get for your 16x20 enlargement? I'm wondering if I can find a big frame and just have them matte it. Just don't know what size is appropriate.

We got a really nice frame for ours on clearence at Kohl's. They have great sales on frames. It's already matted for a 16x20. AC Moore and Micheals have pretty good frame sales as well. Good Luck shopping!!!!

are you serious?! I was at Kohl's yesterday!!! I didn't see anything like that but i wasn't really looking for those...I was looking for smaller frames. I have to check it out! Do you know what size you ended up getting? Was it like 18x24 or something?

Soooo sorry! I just went and looked at it, and it's a 16x20 (in full), Matted for an 11x14 (that's what we got for our enlargement). I don't remember if they had larger frames or not. Sorry for the confusion.
I do know that AC Moore had 40% off advertised on frames this weekend (a certain brand, that I can't remember) They also sell mates at the craft stores pretty cheep and you could DIY it.....I know how good you are at that

We're getting a 16x20 (whenever we decide to start picking pics! ) and Kohl's does have some REALLY nice frames for decent prices. Not PROFESSIONAL fancy frames, but very nice looking ones that don't look cheapy.

The biggest I saw there was 16x20, with either a matte for 11x14 or with the multi-cutout mattes. I bought one of those and will either put the 16x20 in there without a matte or maybe will look around for something else, not sure yet.

We just picked out our 16x20 wednesday, and we ordered it to come on those pop out stand boards. But our photographer is doing that for us ... but looking back on it, it defiantly would have been ALOT cheaper to get a frame on our own..

It would be so simple and cheap for me to just get a 16x20 frame...but the wall we're going to hang it on is tremendous. Hard to believe a 16x20 picture would look small- but it does!!!

I think you can get a frame at either Michaels or AC Moore that is matted to fit a 16x20. They definitely have poster sized frames there to choose from. I remember seeing them when I bought my 16x20 frame to fit my 11x14.

BTW the custom framing is $$$ especially if you want a nice frame, glass, etc.....

Try the selection at Michaels and AC Moore first...see what you find
