Speaking of name changes..ughh
My name has been changed everywhere already. It's done at work, on my email, my nameplate..etc. Before this was even done, I sent out a mass email to my group letting them know my name was changing and to update any documents with my new last name. For some reason, my bosses bright idea, they put my name and address on these booklets and requests we send out like I work with them and am the contact person, when I'm not. Best is, when they did this, years ago, I was never even told beforehand lol. So besides getting this crap to hand out when it gets sent to me, I get calls, hundreds nonstop, and emails asking me questions related to processing these, none I can answer so I have transfer them to the right people then I get 'oh but it says your name on it'![]()
I stopped answering all calls and let everything just go to voicemail. So I'm still getting mail, documents still sent out with my old last name. I find this really annyoing and rude since this is NOT MY NAME. Even the mail boy brings up mail on his sheet with my old name, that I then cross out and sign in with my new one. I mean do I say something to my coworkers? Do I let it go? I'm thinking not even say anything since I'm leaving here in August anyway. Watch, I'll be gone for 10 years and they will still have my name on these documents..![]()
