speaking of names

look it up and share what your first name means

There's lots of different sites, but here's one for those who don't feel like googling meaning of names

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cassandra is a Greek name which means prophetess; or she who helps mankind

(ooooh, pretty strong name. lol. I like it!) I remember also reading somewhere that it meant Moon Goddess

My husband's name is Rocky. It's American and means (can you guess?) From the Rocks. As much as I love his name, can the meaning be anymore boring?

My maiden name means 'dweller at, or near a stronghold or fortified place.' I think they are making up meanings for names they do not know because how many of us now have 'dwellar at' as the meaning of their name???

I decided to look up my man's MIDDLE NAME also since his first name has no real meaning at all. lol. (Although I suppose that 'from the rocks' could also just mean strong in which case that's totally him)

But his middle name is awesome - means Darling, Dearly Loved. (awww - so him! He's definitely the loveable kind. My sisters are always wanting to hug him & kiss his adorable face. hahaha).
