Yes - i did it...well my hair is not dark brown...it's a very dark blonde, mousy brown...you can see in my profile pic how blonde my hair was....my hair dresser gave me a full head of low lights and high lights and a toner to start my transition back. I am going back in a week just to touch up with some highlights. My goal is to have my natural color grow in and just have highlights...i couldn't stand going everymonth to get my roots done.

I was considering this as well...where are you getting it done? (I live in VA but could get it done in NY when I visit my family...)

I made the change a couple years ago..the blonde was just too high maintenance and too expensive to keep up. I wish I did it sooner. I really like my color now. I have been going to Louis Licari in NYC. My girl's name is Kazu and she's great. It's not as expensive as you would think - for instance I got my hair colored at Christie's in Bayside for years and Louis Licari is the same, maybe a little less for a much better job, and def much better service...

Back to brown with light brown highlights...
I am on the left
