Speaking of thank-yous what are yours like?

We didn't expect to get our proofs back so soon so we thought we had time to mull this over!

DId you buy thank-you notes to match your invites? Did you include pictures? Did you do a picture postcard type thing?

I had personalized note cards that matched my invites for those that didn't come to the wedding and sent a gift.

Our photographer also provided us with the standard wedding thank you with the insert for a wallet size picture which we sent to all our guests that came to the wedding.

We used informals that matched our invitations. We preferred to exchange the photo thank you's in our package for more 5x7s for us to give to family. I know our friends will not be keeping our wedding picture up on their fridge forever. Id rather see our family have memories.

I ordered 5x7 photocards from sony image station. they were very reasonable ($12 for 20 cards w/envelopes). I got lots of compliments on them

I just the traditional photo thank you's from the photographer! Everyone is getting a wallet of us. I actually just picked them up last night!

We had 100 4x6 photo thank yous included in our photography package so used them....we made some extra thank yous (3x5) on Shutterfly with other wedding pics too for the rest!

I got free thank yous that match exactly to my invites and I adore them. I am including a photo but not sure whether I'm going the traditional size or a 3x5 (the sample is in the mail!).

I am hoping to get them all out by the 2 month mark, which is Memorial Day weekend - I start school again afterwards and don't want to deal with it!

My thanks yous were 3x3 (?) cards with the front cover being a B & W pic of us in the frame of the church door.

Bumping b/c DH and I are mulling this over. I ordered thank you cards from our invitation person but we have the option of using the ones from the photographer. Either way we were going to include a photo in the family's. (I don't think our friends will be saving a pic of us). If we don't use the one's I ordered we can always use them in the future.

I chose regular thank yous and included wallet size pictures in all of them b/c it was the cheaper route for us. Initially i was disapointed we didn't do the photo card thing becasue i absolutely love the way they come out but since our thank yous have gone out we have recieved a couple photo card thank yous, and I didn't keep them after a week or two I tossed it. I think its easier to save/display the wallet or regular picture then to save the whole card thing. Personal opinion, love the way they look though.

Ours were greeting card style. A full 4x6 picture on the front and blank inside.

Here's our's. . . and, yes, that is us from the wedding, even though it looks like a hallmark card

We also included a wallet size of us inside.
