spin off to vacation posts - costa rica?

Has anyone gone to Costa Rica in either June or August? How is the weather during those months?

Unfortunately due to work restrictions we are limited to travel during those two months

Its the rainy season from may-november...we went in late november and it never rained...I hear it rains for some time then stops but it can also be torrential rains..HTH
