How funny, I was just talking about this today.

I started writing my review while engaged because there was no way I'd remember everything otherwise. Then I had a big issue with one of my big vendors after the wedding and it took MONTHS to resolve, so I didn't want to post my review until I gave them a chance to do the right thing.

Then I had shoulder surgery and other medical crap... so long story short, I still haven't posted it, lol.

So now I wonder if I should even bother posting it!!!

i hear you...was the issue resolved to your satisfaction?

i had only one minor issue with the dj, that was about it. but i feel like i owe the good vendors a shout out.

never wrote one...I don't plan on it either.. waste of energy to me to be honest. My profile has enuf stuff I had too many issues w/peps and I also have high expectactions when it comes to service maybe that other Brides don't.

To be honest, DH and I weren't satisfied with how it was 'resolved' but I'll say they did address it to a degree.

I have to agree that the vendors deserve a shout out - besides this one vendor, all of my other ones really did a great job.

that really suck$ that you had a huge issue with a big vendor...i hope it didnt mess up the day!! I feel like if you air it out you may give other brides a heads up about them.

8 months later.
I thought the good vendors should get credit too.
I waited partly til I got a new pc cause my old one couldn't handle pics. and I still have dial up so even w new pc uploads are a pain.
but it's done. I even put my slideshow in the video lib!

(dh & i stayed in and celebrated together at home b/c i wasn't feeling up to going out)

LOL I';d have to look-dont recall. I know in hindsight it was looong for nothing lol. Because I got married in NJ. But I know people like looking at pictures and getting ideas.

Like you said, Yessi, I started writing mine before hand as well because then I'd never remember. Although I'm sure I still forgot stuff.

I think I posted my review a few months after.

I'd say only do it if you're up to it because it is a pain in the butt.

i wrote the review while I was planning, lost it, then abrv. the review when doing it over again, then finished it as things were 'completed', posted it with in a month.

did you post about this? something happened to your computer and you had this whole long thing written and poof? i seem to remember that!!!! god i'd be livid

yea i had, I had switched from a PC to a Mac and while moving my files over some of them 'got lost' during the transition. It was more my fault for not being careful before wiping out the entire pc hard drive.

i had to look too!

got married 7/14 and posted it on 8/13. i started writing it way before the wedding though!

i wrote it between the wedding and our honeymoon (we had 2 weeks while i finished a class before we could leave).

I dont remember but I am sure it was posted almost immediately.

I started writing mine before so I had all my ducks in a row.

For me I really think no matter what ~ posting your review is nice. You give the vendors that you used a secret TY since not all of them know about LIW and at the same time you help out other brides when they are searching for reviews on vendors.
