...ever bring DH to a girls night in/out? would you show up with him for a guys night out?

I'm watching real housewives of NYC and one of the wives brought her husband to a women's cocktail party. It really seems like Alex is very uncomfortable with being on her own with other women. Interesting.

I'll catch the repeat at 12:00, I'm watching wrestling with DH.

I would bring DH to a GTG if the other ladies were bringing their DH's. I can't stand Alex & her husband and Ramona's eyes remind me of the runaway bride.

hell no...Girls nite...means MEN AT HOME! I had a friend that used to bring her Dh with her EVERYWHERE...it was quite annoying...i'd invite her to the Hamptons and they'd both show up...

OMG! They are like rich DORKS! haha...if i had Alex's $$$ you could bet my hair would look a hell of alot better than hers!! (i know i sound mean...but i look at her & think...the only thing you got going for you is you have $$$...she has no personality or anything...JMO!)

if it was an organized planned evening being referred to a girls night or a guys night, no

but i've gone out when its just been dh & his guy friends.

they're my friends too

i think that couple on the show is overcompensating. They're constantly trying to look all lovey dovey on the show - i find it to be fake and not buying it. You don't need to be that attached at the hip. It's just too much

her husband is also waaaaaaaaay too preocupied with clothes..... don't like that about him either.

i know that this is completely unrelated, but ramona's dancing embarrassed me, and simon directly sprayed his whole face like 10x with cologne!!

i dont like the NY characters as much as the OC version. wait, i kind of like Lu Ann and Jill. i think i like Jill becasue she's from Long Island...representing.

How do you like this, we DONT HAVE CABLE.
So while i've seen the ads and hear the gossip, I don't watch this show, but it sounds like I'd hate them alllllllll....

I find the drama on LIW much more suited to my taste. I can talk back here.

to answer your question, if it were a girls night out, i would never bring DH!
dh is my best bud and we love doing everything together but a girls night out is a GIRLS night out!

i like to watch the show specifically b.c Alex and her husband annoy the sh*t out of me! i love to hate them.
i don't think they are fake. i think they are genuinely in love but i do think they act so pretentious! and they are obsessed with hob knobbing with high society. that's all they talk about- 'moving up in the ranks'...
so annoying! and the french au pairs! really now!

I agree 100%!! I always say what the hell is with that hair? and her clothes are ususally ugly as hell!

but way addicted to the show!!

DH would be staying home if we knew that it was a girls night out for sure!! As would I if it was a guys night out only!! you need time away to miss each other, its good for a relationship!
