Spinoff to 2009 Goals...

Since 2008 is three weeks from ending:

What goals did you have in 2008 that you accomplished?

1. I married the best man I have ever met
2. We paid for our wedding in cash and I am so proud of us for saving all of that money
3. I finally got an SUV (i've wanted one for 5 years now)


It's sad that it's mostly wedding related, but because we were saving, we couldn't really do anything else, lol

1. found a job with the population i really wanted
2. bought a house
3. planned our wedding/got married

1- married my soul mate
2- went back to school
3- had two wonderful vacations.
4- saved a ton of money for the wedding that we didnt think would be possible and owed no one anything afterwards.

Yeah 08 really was wedding related for me as well.

- I finally bit the bullet and went on and inslin pump and am working hard on improving my health
- signed up for make up application classes

yes it was actually!!!

i feel like SO much of this year has been a blurr b/c of all the stress/wedding planning... i'm looking forward to having a LESS stressful year ahead!!!

Thanks! its really been life changing!

1) Survived my own wedding (I never, ever wanted a wedding)
2) Watched my brother get married
3) Made it through some of the 1st (and 2nds) after losing my dad
4) Found a new apartment
5) Got the car I've always wanted!

There are 2 in the Jericho/Hicksville area. We all go to Target at the same time. It scares me. I thought I was the only one who had that car. LOL.

Yes you are so right! That's my goal for next year as well to save, save save.

1. married my love
2. bought a place with my DH
3. upgraded my job status
4. watched my brother get married

1. got married, and paid for the wedding ourselves

2. got my first new car

3. sold our condo, and were able to pay off ALL of our debts

4. currently in contract for our future home

1. married my best friend
2. went to alaska, an amazing place that I've always wanted to see
3. made a serious dent in my car loan and made a commitment to have it paid off by next summer
4. helped dh understand he has got to get a handle on his debt and made some strides to clear some of it up
5. joined a gym for the first time in my life, went pretty regularly for 9 months of the year, and started eating healthier (until the wedding at least - i've given myself until new years to get back to it)

1. Married the man I love
2. Bought our first house!
3. Lost every single pound I wanted to, and got in the best shape of my life!

5. got into great shape--and maintaining it even after the wedding!

1. Started off 2008 with marrying the man of my dreams.

3. Paid off our bills
