So, we didnt have a nice comforter/'bedding set up until my shower and i was super happy to finally get one cu it was so expensive but my question is, how often to you guys make your beds with all the good stuff on...the decorative pillows and all that. And also, where do you put everything when you take it off the bed???
weve made the bed with everything literally once since we got it, maybe 6 months ago and i feel so guilty cuz i love it and wanted it so much.
i am planning on going to get a storage chest because im thinking if i have that, ill be more likely to make the bed more cuz i have something to put everything when i take it off rather than throwing it on the floor or having to fold the whole thing up and get it in the bag to stick in the closet

i make the bed everday! i hate it!! its my least favorite chore ever!!!
but we just have our pillows, the pillows with the shams and then 4 small decorative pillows, we just throw it on the side of the bed at night and it goes right back on in the morning! i try to make it everyday cuz when i start getting lazy and dont do it, it becomes a habit! lol
eta: and the comforter i usually sleep with cuz im always freezing, but if its warm then we just have it folded on the end of the bed.

i make the bed every morning. dh likes to use his two pillows to sleep with every night. i like to sleep with only one. so come bed time one king pillow and two decortive pillows go right on the floor/wall next to my side of the bed.

Until I get bedroom furniture I haven't bothered. Its really silly to decorate the box spring/mattress all fancy with the Ikea furniture. But at my parents I always had fancy bedroom sheets and I made the bed every day.

I make the bed with all the pillows every morning. We have 2 pillows that we sleep with, 2 that match the comforter, 2 of the big euro ones and one throw pillow, so 7 in total. We just throw them on the floor next to the bed at night.

I make the bed everyday. If I leave before DH wakes up, as soon as I get home from work, I make the bed. I once read an article that said that when you walk into your bedroom right before you go to sleep & see a nicely made bed you tend to get a better night sleep. Maybe its all in my head but I think its true.

i make it every single morning and love it!!! there is nothing better then a neat bed- noone wants to roll in messy sheets from the night before!

i LOVE my bedding.. i make it when ppl come over lol. i have like 8 pillows.. we were using the comforter form the set for 2 weeks but yesterday i decided not to cuz i dont want it ruining. so i put it back in the plastic bag (took a good 20 min to do so lol) and put it in a closet. the pillows are stacked btwn a wall and my nightstand.
i also bought rabbit fur rugs for the bedroom. (white).. i packed those up and put them under the bed. i dont want those getting dirty either lol
so only when we have company, the good stuff comes out. and we entertain A LOT..

thanks guys, im getting inspired...a little, lol
now thinking about it, i think the issue started that we didnt want to use that comforter to actually sleep with or it will get ruined and even if we kept it at the end of the bed, we always end up kicking it onto the floor or the cats just use it as their blanket at the end of the bed and like Barb said i dont have 20 minutes every night to put it in the bag only to take it out again in the morning.
i dont know...maybe im being lazy but im gonna get the storage chest for the bedroom so maybe that will help

We put the pillows out every time the bed is made, which is usually on the weekends. One of DH's only chores was to make the bed, so figures the bed is made once a week . But our set isn't super super fancy.
