Spinoff to china....

How many settings do you have. dh w ants 8 but i think we should have 12. he says we wont have 12 people over but that could hange once we get a house

I wanted service for 12. Then, it went on a great sale, so I got 14. Then, I found 1 more for 75% off at a store's liquidation sale.

we originally got 8 place settings but recently I bought 2 more. my pattern is being discontinued in June so I might get a few more pieces (like fruit bowls) before then.

I have 12 for everyday & 12 china. After hosting christmas eve dinner in my apartment this year I realized I might need 16.

I have 12 (4pc place setting) for everyday & 12 5pc place setting) china. But I was thinking I probably should have purchased more for everyday

But I guess I could do like my mom -- she has 2 everyday sets of 12. One set she uses for everyday and the other she uses like her holiday/special occasion -- it gives me an excuse to buy another pattern

we have TEN.

Personally, i didn't understand why i could only choose from 8 or 12. Whatever happened to 10 people at a party?!

We have 14. We were going to register for 12, but BBB recommended we get 14 in case they break or we need extra settings.

We have 14 thats because I got 2 pieces from coworkers from my work shower.
Then I got 12 pieces from my MIL for christmas.
I want to get 4 more pieces Im going to goto the outlets to get them cheaper. So this way I have more then enough.

No I need silverware.

We registered for 12 but got 13 of our good china, but we still need 7 soup bowls. I would love to get the accent plates - we only received one since it was a bonus. We have sterling for 12. We have crystal for 15 because Waterford was having a bonus and you received an extra 1 for every 4 glasses that were purchased.
For every day stuff we have service for 12 in dishes, silverware, and glasswear. In general - when both immediate families are over we have 10 people.
