Spinoff to 'Day after Shoots'.........

For those who are doing this or are thinking of doing this, are you going to have your hair the same style or do another style?

We have ours booked for the middle of August, but I'm not sure if I want the same style I had on our wedding day or if I want another style.......

What are you doing?

we aren't doing a day after shoot. We are doing a shoot around our first anniversary. I am going to wear a casual white dress, and DH will wear black pants and a white shirt. I am having my hair and makeup done. Hair will be in looser less formal curls and I would love to have Jill Harth do my makeup again she is by far superior than anyone else in my area, but we'll see.

I was just thinking about this! I think if I do them (which I really want to do and I want AG to do them, but I digress...) I will wear my hair similarly. I wouldn't go tot he same girl that did my hair on the day of. I also wouldn't wear my veil since DH forgot the box it was in at the after party...

I would probably get my m/u done...but would definitely wear my hair different...by the reception my hair had forgotten it was my wedding day

Wearing everything exactly as I did on my wedding day, hair, makeup, this way it is the same look as our wedding day.

is it every too late to do a photo shoot like you are all talking about. I HATE my pictures and have none that reflect us. I will be married two yrs in sept and still fit in the dress would I be crazy to put it back on???

If you are unhappy about your proofs, then I say go for it! It's not too late at all......if you fit in your dress and you want to do it, then I think it would be a great idea!!!

The last thing you want to do is look at your wedding day pictures and not LOVE them, you know?

good question.... i dont know i think i would wear my hair a little different then the wedding. i would want to keep it looking kinda the same but not.. if that makes any sence. we were suppost to do our day after shoot in aug. but i got bite by a dog and i am out of work so im waiting for me to get better and then we will do them. im dying to take my pics over. my proofs are terriable and he didnt get any of those special shots! i look at them seriously everyday and get so mad and upset. you pay all this money for this pics and then for them to come out looking terriable! ive had my proofs since 2 weeks after my wedding and i still havent put in my pics to make my album because i cant pick ones i just love or even like.
