does your DH wear his ring every single day?!

mine doesnt b/c he has a very hands on job... he tried it out the first month we got married, but he said that it got in the way of him trying to hang stuff or work with wires (he does audio/video/home furnishing stuff)

here and there if he knows he will be in the office all day, he'll wear it & of course when we/he goes out he wears it

i was curious about other DHs

Well I have only been married 9 days lol but DH does plan to wear it everyday. He is a business man so there is no reason not to. If he had a job where he worked with his hands than prob not.

he wears it everyday. he works in a office so there's no reason for him not to. he also loves his ring, and only takes it off when he's cleaning or at the gym.

the first week dh wore his to work and it was getting scratched and he was afraid to lose it in a crawl space or wall, so he does not wear it to work anymore. and we had to take it to the jewelers and have the scratches buffed out. he does wire and cable, internet. plus he just finished all the wiring in our new home. he is a real hands on man.

what kind of ring does he have? I think titanium and tungsten doesn't scratch as much. DH wears his to work and hasn't had scratches. He is a project engineer at commercial properties and when he goes into all these properties most are under construction and he has to usually do his work while these properties are still under construction. Many times when he has to figure things out he has to go into ceiling vents, check out all the electrical work to see if they have to call in their hired electrician and tell him what to do. He has to know all components of the building before he can write the software for the whole building to run on and then he has to check if everything is working on the system. So far the ring has been holding up.

DH can't wear it all day, he works with his hands he is in the tile union and it would get destroyed...he puts it in his pocket when he gets to work and after he washes up there he puts it back on...I am going to get him a chain.

DH wears it everyday. Before we got married he was complaining how he would never get used to it and never be comfortable but shortly after the wedding he said he didnt even know it was there. Now , he feels like somethings missing when its not on.

He does but for his job he takes it off so it doesn't scratch, at first I was upset about that but then I got over it

My DH does for the most part..There are times during the day when he takes it off though...I think he is finally getting used to it..He wouldn't wear it at all in the beginning!

My DH works in a veterinary hospital, so he doesn't wear his ring while working.

He wears his ring on weekends and when we go out.

My DH is a mechanic on airplanes, so he definitely doesn't wear it everyday. When we first got back from our HM, he wore it on a string around his neck, but I don't think he's been doing that lately. I totally understand the reasons, and it makes me appreciate it all the more when we go out and he DOES wear it

He wears it every day, but takes it off as soon as he gets home. I sometimes take mine off when I get home too, if I'm doing laundry, or dishes, or any type of cleaning. I also don't sleep with my rings on... I know a lot of people do.. I don't know how! It feels uncomfortable to me, and it leaves indents on my finger!

DH wears his most of the time, and even at work, unless he has to go out in the field...he's a nuclear reactor engineer. So if he's going to be working around the fuel (and this requires us to dress out) we remove all jewelry....and I guess to compensate, he even wears it when he sleeps...

But alot of the union guys at the plant have 2 rings...the nice one and a cheaper one that they wouldn't care about as much if it's lost. But if they work around rotating equipt, they have to take it off for safety reasons.

we live a block away from work and wake up late with just enough time to shower/get ready and be out the door...so he tends to forget it some morning but goes back home for lunch and puts it on.
