Spinoff to fav. registry gift - for those of you who have a Dyson

I see a lot of you have the Dyson… I have a question though - why is it that the only people who knock a Dyson don't have one?

I have seen so many posts about this all over LIW... and the only negative posts are 'I 'HEARD' it wasn't worth the money' or 'I heard it loses suction'

IMO, it's the BEST household item invented! I can't even vacuum small area rugs anymore because it is so powerful that it starts sucking up the rug! Not only that, but it’s SO good at removing dust and other allergens in the air.

ETA: I have mine for over a year and use it A LOT!!

I don't have a Dyson...nor do I want one. I don't like bagless vacuums...they're horrible for my allergies.
And almost every vacuum s u cks up an area rug.

I still love you.

my DH has allergies too, BAD! and he swears this is the best thing for it. that's why we use it a lot.

We have the dyson and my DH has horrible alergies. The Dyson works wonders on reducing his allergies. Just have someone else do the removal part but I honestly see little if any dust come from ours when we remove the canister.

Yeah...that would be my problem...the removal part. sneeze sneeze.
I'm totally happy with my vac...major dust sucker upper (but with a bag for dust free disposal).

J/K, I have noticed that as well. My mom bought us one for a joint x-mas gift and we LOVE it.

I just got mine this week!! Can't wait to use it...people who don't have one ca't know what it's like.

YEA!! enjoy keeping that GORGEOUS AND HUUUUUUUUGE mansion of yours squeaky clean

I don't have a DYSON and would NEVER knock em, all I hear is great things about em!! I plan on buying one real soon (the purple colored one specially used for pets) being my dog sheds a bit and DH has terrible allergies, I believe it will work wonders in our household!

I can't wait to purchase mine!

you will LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously could not believe the difference it makes the first time I used it. and I don't even have pets.

We have a Dyson and love it! Works great, has extra attachments that work great on furniture and under tight spaces. I'm very glad we got ours

I told DH that you called our house a 'mansion' and he was like 'is she crazy?' apparently, to him, it's not...we're so spoiled down here where every house is HUGE...my sister's 7500+ sq ft custom built house is a mansion though.

But ours is big enough for you and Bill!!
