Spinoff to Kim's bummed about xmas gift thread ...
I have been meaning to purchase a refurbished iPod on apple's website for about 2 weeks. Well, I was waiting until I got my last paycheck. I should have just charged the damn thing! I went to get it today and it is out of stock now ![]()
It's an 80GB black iPod classic for $169 with free shipping - awesome deal - but now I cannot get it. I can get one for $179 on macmall.com, but I do not think it's refurbished by Apple and it only comes with a 90 day warranty, not a one year warranty....
BOO HOO! This was his one gift and now I may have to get him a more expensive one, which I don't want to do because I really don't have it, or give him a raincheck. I did that with his bday gift because we were away on our HM for his bday - I hated doing it .... and I don't want to do it again! (He got the bday gift a few weeks ago.)
Anyone have any ideas of where I can get a RELIABLE refurbished iPod with lots of storage for a good price?
