Spinoff to Things that bothered you after...

Let's flip the switch!!! What are some things that were good on the day of your wedding, but now are just AMAZING in your eyes?

For me:
1) The uplighting FAR exceeded my expectations. I was so thrilled with all of the compliments I had.

2) My hair came out better than my trial. I always wear my hair down, so when I decided to do it 'up' on the day of, I was nervous. Now whe I look at the pics, I love it!

3) All the little extras were so worth it (to me). I had so many people tell me that not one detail went overlooked and how impressed they were. It made me feel like our wedding was even more amazing afterwards! (On the day of, I was just praying it would all come together lol)

ETA: I LOVED my wedding dress too! Even now, I know I wouldn't have picked another dress more perfect for me.

My bridal attendant was amazing. She was such a big help when I accidentally spilled sauce on my dress, she got it right out immediately.

The food was outstanding.

My DJ was hot?

My flowers were exactly what I imagined and I was really happy going with someone who I was told wasn't 'very good'. She was amazing, dunno what they were talking about!

How could I forget my dress!!!!!!! It was perfection!!!!!

I loved, loved my dress... the first time I was in a corset and even I thought I looked beautiful!

Also - my ceremony... it was unique... written by me and my SIL - performed by my SIL and it was amazing.

DH's vows.... they had the entire place crying!

My makeup - OHH wow, just flawless.. I'm a sweater and the airbrush and everything else stayed perfectly.

My dress.. I loved it more and more as the night went on.. It took me a while to get out of it once we got back to the hotel, it broke my heart!!!!!!

The flowers - i was a little nervous about it all coming together but wow, everything was PERFECT!!!!!!!

Weather - it was a bit warm for me (but im warm when its snowing out so not a good judge) but we got outdoor pics and were able to utlize the park we picked out!!!

My DOC's!!!!!!!!!!! LOVED THEM!!!!!!!!! so fantastic and the BEST investment i made from the wedding!!!!!

i really, really, REALLY loved our ceremony. i think it was my favorite part of the whole day. the weather was perfect, everyone was on time, so many people cried, Pastor April was AMAZING, the strings were beautiful, etc. I just loved our whole vows and set up and people still are telling me how beautiful the ceremony was. I can't wait to watch it on video

I also really, loved my dress the day of. I had so much anxiety about the dress and was so indecisive and even considered getting a second dress for the reception but I realized the day of that it was such a 'me' dress and everyone said so as well. I definitely thought it was perfect for me and i LOVE how it comes out in photos

The de seversky grounds and mansion looked amazing. We booked in February anticipating how beautiful it would be in the springtime and it was even more green and lush than we thought

1) NRC was awesome the day of and the more i think about it, they went above and beyond my expectations! we have guests telling us that we set the bar really high for other ppl having weddings in the future b/c they did such an awesome job!

2) loved my bo-k the more i look at it! it was bigger and better than expected

3) my choice on my 2 dresses. i loved my ceremony dress but it was so much more easier to move in my reception dress which i also loved

I love the way our vision came together. The day had some hiccups but it was AMAZING and I wish that we could relive those 3 weeks over and over again.
the week before the wedding, everything was so exciting, the wedding day and the 2 week honeymoon. We were on cloud 9 for months.

Our church mass was beautiful

I loved the way the bridal party looked the flowers were exactly what we wanted.

I was so happy with all our DIY stuff, Everyone noticed the little details

I love my dress.

my dress- I never tried it on with my jewelery, so the day of when I stepped in, hair & makeup done and looked in the mirror I was in shock. Then busted out crying


the weather. I can't believe how amazing it was, and my pictures are EXACTLY what I was hoping for. I'm so in love with them!

My MOH - she was amazing!!!!!

Photographers...they were everywhere and I barely noticed them.

BM's flowers...loved the little accent of blue they added in.

Food...delicious and so happy that we actually were able to sit down and eat our whole meal!!!

I lovedddd my dress. I thought it was perfect for me.

I loved my colors and how my bridal party (including the men!) looked. It was exactly how I envisioned it.

I LOVED our sinatra singer. He was amazing and really added to the night.

Our cake was out.of.this.word.delicious.

Our first dance was incredible. I literally don't remember anyone being in the room but John and I. It was so touching and I will cherish that memory forever.

Our priest did an incredible job on our mass. It was personal, loving and just perfect.

The weather held out for us!!!!!

I thought the dj did a great job with the music. I also loved the lighting.

I ADORE my video teaser, so I can't even imagine what the whole video is going to look like.

- Beyond loved how hubby, I, our bridal party, and parents looked on that day.

- Loved even more our ceremony. We wrote our own vows, and in those few minutes, it felt like it was just me and him, and nobody else around us. It was true bliss.

- The music and dancing, everyone had so much fun. It was a big party about us.

- Our photo and video crew - Ammmaaazing. Can't wait to get our videos, but already so in love w/ our pro pics!

My RH...I can't believe how stressed I was the months leading up to the wedding about the food and the service at CHCC. On the day of ,the food was DELISH, the bartenders went above and beyond, the BM and MD were awesome and the grounds were gorgeous


I was also nervous about using a party bus as our transportation and shuttle for the entire day but it worked out perfectly


Oh and the hotel....we had a rowdy group and they let us party in the lobby the entire night

My makeup was AMAZING...it was like 95 degrees and HUMID on my day and when I woke up the next morning (I slept with it on lol) it still looked flawless!

My flowers were breathtaking...John was so amazing, I hope wherever he is, he knows how much his artistry meant to me on my big day.

Our photographers...I can't even begin to say how much we adore them! My DOC was useless and they completely took her place, got me whatever I needed, fixed all the things that needed fixing...and the pictures are GORGEOUS! After the wedding we actually became really good friends with them so its a double bonus!

My MOH was amazing and her speech had the whole place in tears...

The food was great! (from what everyone said) I had a few bites, but they were delish!

My videographers were incredible! I literally LOVED them and am obsessed with my highlight video!

The smile on my hunnys face when I walked in the room! :) loved it!!!

I thought my everyone in my bridal party looked freaking good! I loved my make up artists.

My DJ/MC was amazing and really worked with the crowd.

The service at my RH was excellent.

Father Tom, my priest, came up with a great sermon on less than a day's notice.

I'm really glad I go video, b/c I love watching our wedding video now.

Photo shoot in the library! It was sooo much fun, and the BP had such a great time goofing off .

My hair! It was such a pleasure to work with Renee because she was so full of energy and kind words.

And best of all...Pastor April. We STILL get compliments for our ceremony to this day!
