Pardon the non-newlywed intrusion - I was lurking since I miss my 06ers, and came upon a thread....
I was just reading the thread about thte top 3 things you would change about your wedding, and most of you mentioned a 'Must Take' list for the photographer. Can you be more specific? Duet brides (Wives ) especially. Duet has an on line form for a photo list that you submit to them - would you say you need get more specific than that? Those who were happy with proofs, did you meet and go over the list with your photographer before the wedding?

Although that wasn't one of my biggest regrets of the day, perhaps its things like co-worker/sorority sister/cousins group pictures. Those are 3 pictures I can think of I wish I had gotten.....Also if there is a special Aunt/Uncle, family friend etc etc who is very meaninful to you. Maybe that's the kind of thing the ladies are talking about?

I had a list in addition to their form, and also printed out photos that I liked so they could duplicate them. One thing I do regret is not asking for a shot of the back of the mansion and a picture of me and my grandmother alone. If there is a certain picture you want - put it on the list!

I have to say I was so pleased with Duet's work and their pictures. The only picture that I wish I would have remembered was my brother and I alone. And maybe more pics of my sisters and I alone.
For the pre wedding shots, my brother went with my husband to take groom party pics so that the guys formal shots would be lessened when we got to WM. There isn't a good pic of my brother and I. My only regret. Sometimes it's the obvious pics you wouldn't think to make a point of listing that go un-mentioned and un-noticed.
