If you are going to have children what will their name be?
DH definitely wants any children we have to have his name but I'm torn. I'd like my name to be part of it but I have a long and difficult last name so hyphenating probably isn't the way to go!

we are in the same boat. i want to hyphenate the last names of our children, but i think that would be considered a form of child abuse. i kept my long polish last name and his is an odd sounding british last name, so it doesnt flow very nicely and is about 17 letters long....

Our kids will have my name. I don't know why, but I've always felt strongly that children should have their mother's last name and my DH doesn't mind, so that's what we'll be doing. We've talked about one of us changing our name or doing a combined last name before we have kids so that we'll all have the same last name, but whatever we end up doing, my kids will have my last name.

Ours will have DH's last name....I added DH's to mine w/o a hyphen and really want my maiden name as our children's middle name but it's a long Italian name so it probably isn't happening...we shall see!

They will have his last name. There is a small possibility that my last name will be their middle name.
