Spinoff to towel thread......other germalicious things

As I got ready today I couldn't help but to start thinking about a few things and have questions for you...

1- What do you use to wash your body? I use a washcloth and Dh uses a loofah. I remember people saying they skeeve washcloths but now I need to know what you use instead! I use a new one everyday and usually bleach those suckers. Plus I don't feel clean unless I use one!

2 - Also how often do you change your toothbrush? I don't get skeeved often but I do when I think of my toothbrush!!! Sometimes I soak it in listerine.

3 - And how often do you change your razorblade?? I wonder what kind of bacteria is built up on there...I mean I do use it on my legs, armpits and other private areas!!!

1- I use my hands and the soap, no washcloth or loofah. Though I do use a pumice stone sort of thing on my heels in the shower

2- I change my toothbrush every couple of months.

3- I change my razor blade at least every few days, but more or less depending on how often i use it.

3 - And how often do you change your razorblade?? I use Intuition so i use it intil the 'lotion' runs out. Usually three shaves.

1. just use soap and water or body wash; DH uses a washcloth and it skeeves me, not sure why.

2. when the bristles start to fray outwards i change them; usually every few months or so

3. not often enough, especially since we both have the male/female version of the same razor and he keeps stealing my blades! maybe 1x a month? I also laser though so i don't need to shave that much.

3 - And how often do you change your razorblade?? After 4 or 5 shaves - I use it on my armpits and legs.

hahahahah if I answered those HONESTLY you'd all think I was a pig.

I have a loofah sponge that I use 99% of the time. Ive never had a problem with washcloths tho.

I change my toothbrush probably every 4 months.

And my razor blade every few days but this also depends on how often I use it.

1- washing my body... I use a loofah and I change it when I feel I need to... I actually use one on my feet (NOT THE SAME ONE!) so when I feel its time to get a new body one then I throw out the old feet one and the old body one becomes the new feet one... make sense??
2- toothbrush- change it every couple of months
3- razor- DH and I use disposables- I actually prefer them, so I just throw it out after about 5/6 shaves...

those things are i change mine like once a month - if that... i dont get skeeved out by that - i rinse them after each use

i buy the disposable ones, i get the ones made my noxzema and its $3-$4 for 4 razors from target

I buy my intuition refills from BJs, they are expensive but disposables are only made for a few shaves, after that they are so dull - its like not shaving at all ( in my experience) and you are more likely to cut yourself.

I thought I was alone.

1. I use a puff and I have to replace mine. However, I packed one on my hm and didn't use it once-I used a washcloth or my hands.

2. Toothbrush is replaced way too long after it's supposed to be. I did buy new ones for us for the hm.

3. As mentioned above about once a month-not only because they're expensive but because I have sensitive skin and I swear that the new blade always cuts me up. I'm scared lol. Also I haven't seen bar soap in my shower in years to rub it on and I find that that makes it worse.

1- the poof thing which I replace pretty often. or just my hands and soap
2- every 3-4 months
3- I use the disposable razors so after 4-5 uses they're no good anymore anyway.

1) I use a pouf and shower gel. I replace it when it gets too loose

2) toothbrush every 3 months or so.

3) after it stops working so well. I don't count shave so I don't know off hand.

DH and I both use bar soap.

I change my toothbrush every few months or when it starts looking frayed. I like to buy the ones with the blue striped bristles in the middle b/c that tells you when to replace

I have to admit, I don't change my razor blades that often! I get dozens of good shaves out of one blade so I don't feel like it's necessary to change it that much. I rinse it every day and plus, those bad boys are crazy expensive!! Esp the good ones.

What do you use to wash your body? i use body wash and just do it with my hands. I dont like loofah's or a wash cloth.

And how often do you change your razorblade?? Probably every month. I usually buy 3 or more a time so even when i need a new one i usually have a bunch at home.

I used to use body wash w/loufa but than my dermo told me about all the bacteria that grows on the loufa
Soap bars used to skeve me - but I found some all natural homemade products by LUSH that make my skin smell and feel great that this is my new obsession.

I use the Cucumber Melon schick Intuition Razor so whenever that runs to the bottom that is how I know I need the refill

agh, DH uses a loofah which skeeves me big time. Those things get mold all in them after a short while. I use nothing except my hands and body wash.

Toothbrushes, hmm, whenever I think of it I guess. Prob should more often. They gross me out.

Razors, I tend to use ones with soap refills (Shick intuition) and the soap part runs out kinda quick, so I'm changing that alot. Nothin dirty about those. When I use a regular razor with no refill for the top, I chuck those out pretty often and use new ones too bc it seems theyre only really good at shaving when they're really new and have only been used a handful of times.

You forgot to ask about sponges!! The worst household offender in my book. I HATE touching them so I avoid it at all costs!! DH uses the sponge alot. I think EW why am I cleaninng things I eat off of with something probably FILLED with bacteria. They smell musty in no time. I just need to get a bunch and switch really often so i dont get grossed out.
