Re: SPINOFF to what 'OLD AGE' is....
I used to 'rush my life' all the time. I couldn't wait for stuff to happen and my life flew by! Now, I don't want for things to rush and enjoy each and every day.

I think for me it's mostly the things I thought were so important being younger aren't as important now. Even in my relationship with DH three years ago there wasn't a night that we didn't go out, it was our life we just went out all the time and had a great time, sure it was fun, but i couldn't imagine doing that now as often, even more so because we are having a baby. Life has just changed. Me personally I probably have become calmer to a certain extent but i can get reved up pretty easily too. Oh I can't skip a meal and have a flat belly like I use too I have to work out!

I remember being a lot more relaxed when I was younger, there was much less stress then!
I also get tired a lot faster. I used to be able to stay out all night and go to class the next morning no problem- now I have to be in bed by 11 on a week night

The only change I have really seen in myself is my patience. I have absolutely no patience for anything.
I guess this is why people who have children are praised so much lol They really need to have patience when you have to constantly watch a 2 year old not put things in their mouths. I have a puppy, and I feel the same way. =(
The only other thing I can say that I feel has changed with me is my personality. I am much more out going and not caring about what people think of me to some extent. When I was younger it would ruin my whole day, where I went would depend on who was there and who was going to 'judge' me.
hmmm for me its kinda the opposite with the last thing you said, well in a way. When i was younger I would talk to everybody and anybody and make friends with them. I would meet new ppl and become friends with them and start hanging out with them. Hung out with quite a few different groups of ppl. I think now im not like that as much. Its like ok im friends with who im friends with and don't become as friendly with new ppl, yes i am outgoing with them and talk to them but not necessarily will be like 'hey wanna hang out sometime, we can go to this bar next time' well also bc i dont go out as much anymore lol. But when youre younger youre more trusting and look for different things in your friends, back then probably somebody to go out with and have fun with. Now priorities change and less trusting of ppl, less tolerant of drama. So a bit more careful about letting people in.

Prob my food and drink choice. I use to drink girly drinks I think just b/c and now I love white wine wich I always hated. I also like hummus now! I still bug out over everything so no change there:(

Re: SPINOFF to what 'OLD AGE' is....
my body has DEFINETLY changed this year! it's crazy... and suprisingly, i've embraced it
i seriously have worn the same size (and same pairs!) of jeans for forever...i actually have a pair from EIGHTH GRADE that have stayed in decent condition & fit all this time...just this year I have definetly gotten MUCH more curvier (and i like it !). I haven't gained weight at all, those clothes just don't fit me the same and i can finally shop in the womens dept. & wear women's sizes! lol. dh even made a comment a couple months back when we were 'having fun'( ) and was like 'i love these curves..i feel like all of a sudden they got better' dh & i started dating when i was 17 - so he's absolutely right! guess i've just gotten a more womanly physique

def. my temper, my period, and I am just happy with who I am and the choices I have made, not all good ones but I learned from my mistakes and grown from them. and for some reason the older I get the younger I feel. and personally I think I look better as I age.

i will also say i've become really happy with the person i've become, self confidence etc... in my earlier years i struggled a LOT with self image, weight obsession, etc. i am finally in a place where i know God made me exactly how He wanted me wouldn't change a thing

Hmmm...I would say generally I am more mature. I don't let the little things get my temper going and stuff. I think it really touches on all aspects of my life from work to socializing.
I kind of miss the carefree days....grateful I got away with as much as I did But much more cautious and responsible in my old age

Re: SPINOFF to what 'OLD AGE' is....
I've definately grown a lot...definately the way I look at money! Years ago I would waste money on designer things..now I'm more interested in investments, and things that will make me money! I also find that I have been exercising more and eating better in my late twenties (than the earlier years)..I'm really trying to take care of myself more than ever!! that and I find I am more interested in really starting a family rather than hanging out in bars and clubs..
