My cat got blood on my new comforter. They aren't huge spots, but spots nonetheless.
does anyone know what works with blood? Thing is, this comforter is dry clean only... its the one we got for my bridal shower and it wasn't cheap so I dont want to take any chances of making it worse.
should I just bring it to a dry cleaner? Or will that cost me a fortune?
Its 85%polyester 15% silk on the side he *bled* on.
don't worry-- kitty's fine.

Re: STAIN HELP
if it has silk in it, yeah, I'd dryclean it
if it was any other material, I'd use oxyclean

Yeah, I think that's what we're going to do.
a dry cleaner should be able to get blood out, right?

dry cleaners can usually get anything out if you haven't tried to treat it yourself, and they get it quick, bring it there as soon as you can, it will cost a lot for the comforter, it always does, but they should be able to get it out. GL BTW I love it!!!

Re: STAIN HELP
hmm...being that it's silk i'm not sure. but the best stain remover EVER is Zout. My seamstress for the wedding actually told me to get it for the wedding in case of an emergency 'cause it's the only think that would stain the satin. If anything, u could try putting it on it before u take it to the dry cleaner. I've used it on EVERYTHING. even stains that had been washed, dried, washed again. It's the only thing that works! good luck!
