Star Vendor Spinoff: Who were your favorite vendors...

on your wedding day that were not LIW vendors? And how did you find them?

Though I had alot of LIW vendors (and was happy with them all) I found some on my own.

Elegancia Entertainment - my DJs were amazing and I heard about them through a friend's recommendation.

My harpist Jeanne Goldstein I found through my church's music director and I LOVED her!! She was so good, even learned the song I wanted to play for my BP entrance to the church, and was sooo reasonably priced.

My hairstylist has been my stylist for years so that's nothing new there.

While this site was an invaluable resource to me while planning my wedding, I'm just curious how many of us out there found some of our vendors elsewhere.

Well, I found about Duet on LIW, but Duet is not a LIW vendor.

So, I would have to say Duet and our priest, Father Bob.

My favorite vendor was definitely my photographer. Even though they are not a LIW vendor I found them on this site.

All my vendors were found before I joined LIW, so I guess in my eyes they're not LIW vendors....but a few are, so the non-LIW vendors that shined are....

Bobby Suss-Koyler - WM In-house florist. Amazing, beautiful, artistic design! We (and everyone) was so pleased with our flowers. I was so in love with my bouquet that the day after our wedding I called Keepsake Floral and overnighted my bouquet for preservation!

Kathryn - Hair. Now Kathryn is not a LIW vendor, but I did find out about her from another LIW bride. She came to my rescue when my hairdresser backed out on my 4 wks before my wedding. She did an amazing job on my hair. It was better than I dreamed it could be! AND it stayed all day long!

(My four favorite LIW vendors...Westbury Manor & Franklin Square Photography/Videography & Oksana & Father Tom)

The only one who wasn't was JPI video and I have not received the video back yet (because I havent emailed him pics yet)

Our DJ... my husband knew him from a music store he owns in Brooklyn... we heard that he is a DJ on weekends and he is awesome... we knew he would be perfect because he knows his music and especially European music which we are into... we made the right decision, he played something for everyone and the dance floor was full all night...
