Re: started C25k yesterday

I haven't done the C25k, however I used to be very unathletic and I worked my weight out of that rut. I used to be a nonathlethic, overweight smoker and now I'm running half marathons. You just have to stick with the program! You can do it!!

Re: started C25k yesterday

DH started that in March, prior to the wedding & he really enjoyed it. Over the summer he didn't have time to do it because of his job schedule. He started up again in September & does it 3 days a week. He really enjoys it.

Good Luck.

Re: started C25k yesterday

You can do it! Every time you run it gets easier.

Make sure your shoes fit properly and you are resting long enough between runs. (I tried to run every day when I first started and almost hurt myself.)

Re: started C25k yesterday

I started this but got sick and then fell out of the groove

Definitely keep it up and run through the pain, otherwise you'll never go back. If you get to week 2 and you still feel like week 1 is kicking your butt, just keep it up with week 1...no need to move on and hurt yourself or push yourself too far.
