Re: Staying with the Christmas questions...
DH's grandparents gave me what pretty much looked like a mumu one year.
I have to think, I know I have some more.
Oh and I didn't get this, but last year one of my friends at work got one of those travel manicure sets from someone that had very obviously been USED!

A horrible, horrible necklace. So horrible it's comical. I still have it.

Re: Staying with the Christmas questions...
OMG seriously if there was a contest I might win this one - when I was a kid and cabbage patch kids were REALLY big - at the end of x-mas my dad brought out these two HUGE HUGE boxes and I was so excited - we always got gifts but not really big things and I was convinced that due to size alone that this had to be the best gift ever (apparently had not watched the price is right! )
so I open the box and there is - a cabbage patch kid - but not an ACTUAL cabbage patch kid but a REAL cabbage stuck on the body of one of my stuffed animals - then with buttons for eyes, yarn for hair, etc my dad had made us his version of a cabbage patch kid - I was devastated!!
now I see how somewhere in my dad's brain this was hysterically funny - i was not amused !

Tweezers that look like an Asian lady dressed in a kimono. One of my 5 yr olds gave it to me. At first I was like 'huh?' and then I found out she gave them to my 2 assistants too.

I'm sorry, I couldn't stop laughing. It's hysterical. That's the worse thing you could do to a kid, toy with their emotions esp when it comes to gifts.
