Still in wedding mode....

Today is our 1 month anniversary. I can't beleive a whole month flew bye. It feels like yesterday.

I called in our thank you today. They said I should have the Thankyou's in 2 weeks. How long do I have to get them out in the mail? I plan to do a couple a night, but like I said 'plan' - things always pop up.

Tomorrow, I am picking up our video (uneditted version). I can't wait to see it! How much do I edit from the video????

Re: Still in wedding mode....

I think you have up to a year to send out your thankyou cards. Mine were sent out on the 6 month mark.

Re: Still in wedding mode....

'etiquette' says you have 3 months to send thank yous, guests have up to a year to send a gift.

But I think few people are keeping track

I wanted to get ours done, so we did a few each night, and mailed them all right around our two month anniversary. I figured the longer we waited, the longer it would take us.

But I think the sentiment expressed in the thank you is more important than how long it took to arrive.

Re: Still in wedding mode....

Human nature would always say do it tomorrow, so I did them right away, I think within a month, I wanted them out of 'MY' hair Do a little at a time, it can get overwhelming, I did some on my commute, at my desk at lunch, on my way home. At home etc.

Enjoy your video and happy 1 month.

Re: Still in wedding mode....

I did them on the plane ride to/from the honeymoon and they were in the mail the day after we got back. But I think a month or two after is okay as well. I personally like to get them out right away because I think it say something good about you.
