Stolen from 08 boards: What are you and DH obsessive compulsive about?
Hmm I would say I am neurotic about being a 'fixer'-in other words trying to fix everythign and everyone thats broken and making myself nuts over it. So i try and distance myself better now and generally I am ok. Put a whole state between me and mom so doing GREAT
DH is OCD in regards to cleaning. so we always have a spotless house which is nice.

Ha, my husband is obsessive compulsive about most things, everything is neat and clean and has its place. He does research for a living so he buys nothing in this universe without researching it first.
I am a bit more relaxed, though I need my bed to be a certain way or I can't sleep and I am crazy about bathing my dog. I tend to get anxious when things aren't done, at work, at home, etc. so I guess I am pretty OCD about completing my to do lists.

DH & I have mild paranoia regarding shutting off the stove, the iron, etc. We probably check these things about five or six times every time we leave the house. And DH is very OCD about checking that windows & doors are locked.

I am a neat freak. I have to put everything in its place before bed and again before work. It is crazy.
I also have to have EVERYTHING prepared for my morning. I set up breakfast and lunch and put my clothes out for the next day.
DH is crazy about safety. He has to make sure all the windows and doors are locked.

i cannot throw out paper because it drives me crazy not to recycle. i work in a nursing home and we dont have a recycling bin, so i actually bring home all my paper to throw out. u should see my drawers at work!!
eta: dh is not obsessive about anything, it drives me CRAZY!!

I would say DH is very particular when it comes to his desk. He seems to know when I moved something to clean. and I try my hardest to put everything back where it was.
As for me i am paranoid with the doors. i have to triple and quadruple check them before I leave the house and before I go to bed. Also with certain appliances after I used them to make sure i shut them off.

DH is compulsive clean freak when it comes to our bed...he washes our bed sheets every other night...cuz he believes in bed bugs, and mites, and god knows what else...we have tons of bed sheets...and we wash them every other day..... he thinks acne is caused from ppl not washing their pillow cases ..and their face is sleeping on it all night...
i guess its not a bad obsesssion but sometimes it annoys me!

DH is obsessed with new software and up and coming technology. He needs to always have the latest gadget whether it be a flat screen TV, cellphone, camera, firewall, computer, anything!
I can not sleep in an unmade bed, sometimes I will make my bed right before I get into it, it has to be done. Im also pretty obsessed with cleaning the kitchen counter top and wiping it, I don't like germs anywhere near my food or the kitchen area.

Im obssed with not letting the laundry pile up and making sure the doors are locked at night.. My DH cannot go to sleep without the ceiling fan on, and it drives me nuts cos It makes noise and I cant fall asleep

omg i wish i had that problem! that is awesome!
as for me, i am a germaphobe. it takes me forever to clean the bathroom b/c it grosses me out and i feel like i cant get it clean enough. and then i throw out the sponge when i done. i dont think my honey has any obsessions..

thanks! you just gave me dh's obsession. he LOVES electronics! knows everything about them- esp. tvs and camerasb/c he is in the tv industry.

Thats actually pretty funny. least you're being good to the environment!
I am like that with littering. I CANNOT litter. It makes me feel nauseus so I will stick gum in a wrapper and stick it in my pocket if there are no garbage cans around. Problem is I usually forget and thenwhen i wash ym pants or jacket...YUCK!
