strangest rsvp ever

My birthday is tomorrow....my friend says she didn't rsvp because she was on the CC line of the email, so she thought she was not invited.

Am I crazy or it that lame.....would you care if you were on the cc line? Why would I send the invitation at all if she was not invited?

That is kinda strange. Why would you have copied her if you didnt want to invite her? Is she going to come now that she expained why she didnt rsvp?

Sounds like somebody forgot to RSVP or doesn't want to go so she pointed out something you did to take the attention from her. Have fun anyway on your birthday!

she was probably CC'd b/c the TO: was at the max amount of emails. So she thought it was an FYI that you were having a party and she wasn't invited?

lame excuse, IMO. I've never heard of letting people know about a birthday party but not actually inviting them. It also sounds a little petty, like maybe she took offense to not being one of the first email addresses listed, but this isn't 3rd grade.

I agree that it's a strange RSVP....why would she have been sent an invite if she wasn't invited?

The crazy part is that she is a close friend who has come for my birthday dinner every year and I took her out for a steak for hers a month ago!
