Stupid school automated crap

My daughters school has an automated phonecall thing where they set it up to say whatever and it calls everyone they call everyday about stupid crap like tomorrow is muffin mania , Do I giva sh!t so today between 4 and now I have gotten 3 calls from the school about muffins and family fun night and superindent something it is sooooooooooo annoying Sorry had to vent

that's annoying...

my school has automated e-mails, but they only go out in an emergency.

you have to sign up with the PTA e-mail to get things like the stuff you're getting.

Maybe I should change my number but they need it

In a way, that is Annoying, but when I have children, I can see myself, answering the phone, & thanking God, that the message reminded me.

I wish I had that automated service now, so I don't forget to do things.

that's super annoying that it's that frequent.....i could see if it was once a week.... and if anything they should've sent a letter home a ASKING if u'd like the calls...

I know my sister said her school does that. I can understand having it because we were shopping together and her cell phone rang and it was the school stating there had been a bomb threat called in and then a couple minutes later her husband called to tell her he got a phone call about it too.
She said they also use it for stupid stuff too like what time would you like conferences and to remind you of dances and other activities going on at the school.
She has 5 kids that attend 3 different schools in the district so she receives many phone calls sometimes in 1 night.
