Summer Clothes Shopping

Summer Clothes Shopping

So, clothes shopping is generally always a disaster for me. But, I degress. I went to Old Navy this afternoon bc I am in DIRE need of Capri's and Shorts. Not only did NOTHING fit bc the sizes are so wonky there, but, what I want to know is, what's up with the skinny jean capri's that end JUST below the knee?? Is it just me or are they the most heinous thing designed ever? I walked out of there with 2 tank tops and a feeling of severe dejection.

Do anyone know where I can find capri's that DON'T fit the above description?

I haven't been to either in ages but what about NY & Co. Or Express? I know how you feel. I'm in desperate need of everything and am absolutely dreading going shopping.

I could probably stop over at NY & Co. They generally have some nice stuff. It's just so frustrating to go clothes shopping these days. Especially since I put on a few pounds since last summer.

I know how frustrating it is. I often leave the mall feeling depressed! DH wants me to get a few new bathing suits and I can't even imagine trying some on right now!

ugh. I had a pair of those kinds of capris last summer. Very uncomfortable cause it was skin tight and went just below the knee - odd! But it was all I could find so I just learned to deal I refuse to wear those again tho! So I also need to hunt down some normal ones for this summer. Please do tell if you ARE able to find a store that sells normal capris. grrr

Ugh capris that fit just below the knee? Is that what's in for spring? I'll wear last year's then lol

Try Ann Taylor Loft...also Boston Proper has normal ones lol. bostonproper.com

finding bottoms that fit in general is a PIA for me. Forever 21 actually tends to fit me very well. Desginer stuff hardly ever does. Which I guess is good cus it keeps me from buying pricey things. I bought my first designer jeans this year after years (literally, years) of searching. Old Navy bottoms never fit me. They always gap out. I havn't seen the capris you are talking about yet. I am curious now.

They're terrible. They're like the capri's that girls used to wear in the 60's. Only TIGHT. Eeek.

The last pair of jean capri's I bought were like 4 or 5 years ago and they were so long that they only showed like 4 inches of skin and they were cuffed. I don't care how out of style they are now, I wish I still had them.
