Summer concerts

What concerts are you going to this summer? DH and I want to get tickets for Kid Rock & Lynyrd Skynyrd at Jones Beach.

I love seeing shows at Jones Beach, but there's not really anything on the line up that I'd want to see. I used to love NIN and Janes Addiction, but I like to see more mellow shows there. I wish Tori Amos would come back!

To answer Michelle -
I am going to see Phish with DH in Camden on June 7 (a Sunday night - and yes we are driving home afterwards - that will be a fun ride and an even better Monday ... grrrrr) and probably seeing Phish with him at least once the week before at Jones Beach. He wants to go to all three shows at Jones Beach - he is nuts and we do not have the money for that. I would only go to one -- four Phish shows in 1 week is WAYYYY too much for me.

I also want to get tickets to see Crosby Stills and Nash at the beach - I might buy a ticket for my dad for Father's Day and DH and I would go with him. We loooove them and my dad does too.

Ani DiFranco is playing a few places near by but not on weekends and not really in traveling distance for a weeknight. I assume she will add a NYC date - I would love to see her but just don't know if we have the money. You know, DH is spending it all on Phish

DH wants to get tickets to this also. He's a HUGE Kid Rock fan. maybe i'll have to surprise him

I was definitely at that Tori show! I've seen her a few times since then, once with Alanis Morrisette.

I used to looooove Ani Difranco!! I've seen her a few times as well, I think the last time was at Battery Park, I think 98? I would love to see her too, but yeah we probably will save the money and not see any concerts this year, booooo!

Some of the seats are $$$$$$$$$$$$$ I just think it's such a small theater and there are really no bad seats, why would the charge so much?

I wanted to see Kenny Chesney w/ Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum, but the tix are like $85 for the nosebleed section It's just as well b/c we are going to SC and GA that week anyway so it will be crazy w/ packing and such.

Incubus is playing this summer, I think im gonna get tix for that. I was looking the other day for concerts and not alot of good concerts coming up soon.

There is the american idol tour lol. I have to check Incubus though bc i have a feeling they went on sale already which would be annoying if it did.
