SUPER SATURDAY 5/1/10 NWQOTD!!

Original post by geegee827

Happy Beautiful Saturday morning!!!

Before I leave to start all of my errands - here's today's question:

Weekends are the only time I actually make myself breakfast - most mornings I grab a cup of tea and a granola bar. I love it when DH is off on weekends and we can actualy have breakfast together but even if he's not, I make something for myself. So today's question:

What is your favorite food for breakfast?

Mornings is fresh fruit & organic yogurt. But sometimes i make an egg white & spinach omelette. But always fresh fruit.

That's exactly the case with me too! I have a balance bar during the week. I think my favorite thing to make is eggs benedict with smoke salmon, but I also really like french toast.

I love going to IHOP and getting a ridiculously huge variety plate with eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes. This is usually a twice a year treat.

My everyday breakfast lately has been steel cut oatmeal with a little splenda and strawberries. I feel like Oprah when I eat it since I saw on her show she eats it everyday since Dr. Oz told her to.

Eggs benedict or my all time favorite that I allow myself once a week...one fried egg and one slice of american cheese on a poppy bagel
