Super Vent!!!
Many of you know what a piece of sh it brother in law I have from the many stories I've told in the past. He lives downstairs from us with a giant dog (English mastiff) and he doesnt take care of her at all. Honestly, I think something is mentally or emotionally wrong with him - you should see his apartment and his bathroom especially. I really am serious when I say that a sane person could not possibly live the way he lives.
Today REALLY takes the cake as far as *******-ness goes. He texted me at 4:30 to ask me to check if Lucy (his dog) was in the yard because he's pretty sure he left her outside this morning.
It has been POURING all day long! How could he sit there at work and NOT come home for her? It's not like he's a doctor performing open heart surgery, he's a friggin accountant.
So I get home, immediately go to the yard and she is not there! I'm freaking out, calling him, calling DH. BIL doesn't even answer his phone but when I texted him he answered right away and said he was going to take the train home now to find her. So was he ignoring my call? Piece of s h i t I tell you!
DH came home and we were looking on our block for her - she's 9 years old which in Mastiff years is waaaaaaaaaaaay old so we were hoping she didnt get far. A neighbor we don't really know comes out and asks if we're looking for our dog - she had her!
Thank God! We must have looked like such a s s holes to her - I kept insisting it was my BIL's dog and he's a jerk who doesnt deserve an animal.
So I text him again to tell him she's okay and he doesnt text back or anything. Two hours later and I'm like it doesnt take that long to get home to Queens from Manhattan so I text him that he should be home with his dog. He texts me back and said that he went back to work once he heard she was home.
How do you do that?????? Who knows how long that poor dog was outside in the rain before she pushed her way out of the backyard by opening the gate. She was probably so scared and so cold.
He finally gets home, doesn't say thanks or anything and within ten minutes leaves for the gym. I hope he gets four flat tires and can't find anyone to help him and he has to wait outside in the rain all night. If it were legal to kill people he would not be living right now.
Vent over...but I think I'm NEVER going to get over this!
