i was bored and saw this.....is this girl wearing a wedding dress? it looks like those pnina tornai dresses - which i think are a little risque for a bridal gown let alone a sweet 16 but thats jmo....just made me think of what i might say if i had a daughter who wanted to wear a dress like that for her 16....would you tell her no? or would you encourage her go for it?

no, no , no, no, no. I don't mean to offend any other girls on this website, but I saw some girl on 'say yes to the dress' wearing this and she was like 'This is the most beautiful dress ever'. It looks like you are wearing lingerie as a dress!!!!
I would deff NOT let my 16 year old daughter wear this anywhere.

part me of me thinks if i had a daughter and she wanted to wear white i would try to explain it might be best to save 'white' for the wedding - but i also wouldn't want to take away from her dream dress if white was her sweet 16 dream dress color - but i didnt have a sweet 16 so i cant speak from experience i wasnt into that and besides that there was no way my parents could afford a party if i wanted one but im just trying to put myself in that situation as a parent.....
but besides it being white, it looks very naked - i thought besides the whole white thing it was just way too much as far as 'sexy' goes....im all for sexy but i dont know, something rubbed me the wrong way when i saw it

Yes, the fact that you can SEE THROUGH it, rubs me the wrong way as well lol I honestly don't even like this dress as a wedding dress. It just seems too revealing.
I never had a sweet 16 either, but if my daughter ever came up to me and asked me to buy her this dress for her party, I would tell her to keep dreaming. This reminds me of that stupid 'super sweet 16' show on MTV. I cringe everytime I watch it.
