Tailoring question

I just bought a pair of jeans that fit, but they are about 3 feet too long. Can I have them hemmed, or will that look silly??

I think as long as they are straght legged it should be ok.

yes...have them hemed. If you go to a tailor they 'should' put the double stiching in the hem like the jeans have now.

I wish I had that problem... finding a pair of jeans that FIT!!!

HEHE...oh, and the problem of them being too long... at 5'11', that *never* happens!!

as long as it doesn't change the shape of the cut it should be fine.

I have to shorten jeans too or just vow to wear high shoes with them everytime I wear them.

I dont love the way they look hemmed but its better than not owning any jeans at all. After a bunch of washes they start to get the worn out look on the bottom again.
