Taking a cruise in jan!!

hey dh and i are going on our first ever cruise in january to mexico! i'm so excited its on carnival...any suggestions/ideas/comments? what goes on during a cruise anyway (besides u-no-what) LOL

I just got back from a cruise....They are the BEST!!!!! You dont have to worry about anything. You are going to have an Awesome time!!!!

11 days through the carribean...Left right from NYC it was fabulous!!!!

my HM was on a cruise which was our first one, I had no idea what it was going to be like, and it was amzing you really will have the best time of your life.. We walked around with drinks in hand all the time the shows were terrific, theres just so much to do aboard the ship!!! we did royal carribean, I'm not sure how different they are.. I heard carnival is MUCH moreof a party ship so I'm sure you'll have a great time!!!

thanks for the reply we're getting more psyched by the day...i heard drinks arent included tho which is a bummer eh?

it wasn't that bad, i think with 1 couples massage and all the drinks for the week the bill was almost $800.. we heard it was gonna be over 1000! so we were thrlled, it was about 800, also the tips for everyone aren't included so at the end they tell you the requested amounts in lump sums and add that to the bill, so that was included in my $800.

holy cow i had no clue about that! thanks for the heads up; i didnt know how tips worked either, like am i supposed to know who/how much etc. what do they do hand you a bill then you charge it there?

Tips depends on the line. The one we took takes 10 a day per person for tips. And no drinks are not included we spent 1500 in alcohol

Dh and I have done 6 cruises so far- any information or questions you need to ask fm me and ill be more than happy to help you out!!! i have never done carnival but the info is basically mainly the same!
