Tanning help!

I came on the Newlywed board to ask all of you if you had any funky tan lines that you needed to cover up for your wedding day? If so, can you please tell me what you did? I'm going to have some MAJOR tan lines to cover up. My gown is strapless! HELP!!!

Re: Tanning help!

I don't tan now but used to. If you plan on going you could start now- just go naked, hopefully it will even out. I think it will.

Re: Tanning help!

I had really bad tan lines right before my wedding. Even though I did everything I could to prevent them it was hard since I work outside during the summer. I ended up going tanning and was able to get rid of them.

Re: Tanning help!

I'm a mail carrier so in the summer, I get super dark but I get some RIDICULOUS tan lines! My arms are tan up to where I wear my shirt, then the rest of my upper body is white. Oh, except for the back of my neck from looking down at the mail as I'm walking. My face gets tan too. Then I get a stupid tan line from my shorts and my sneakers. My legs are tan from right above my knee to my shoes, then my feet are white! I'm telling you, it's the funniest looking thing but I need to cover it up for my gown. I don't want to wear sleeves! My FH laughs at my tan lines! I don't like tanning because it's not safe, but I may have to do for this. I was thinking of going to the tanning salon and tanning (naked) 3 days a week for a few months leading up to the wedding to try to cover up the lines. Do you think that's a good idea?

Re: Tanning help!

IMO that will work. Thats what I did. My doctor actually told me to go tanning because of my skin condition. It keeps me almost freee of psoriasis. I didnt want any breakouts during the wedding and this helps. It isnt going to hurt you to go a few months before the wedding to even out the tan lines.
