We got ours a few months ago, we paid off some credit cards, got a new tv and a kitchen island. We got almost 6k and aside from what I listed I can't think of anything else we spent it on

Went right in to our money market. Technically, it will basically pay for a new set of tires for both my car and DH's, oil change and new breaks for BOTH of us, and some funny money left over.

Ali, I know you went to SUNY SB - did you ever have Professor Barnhart? I ask because he had a penchant for using the term 'funny money' and I was just curious.
We did extremely well on our tax return and put the whole thing into our joint savings account.

We filed seperate this year and I plan to use my return for ME! I plan to use it to buy new clothes and a few things I had to wait until after the wedding to get like my iphone.

He is a history professor - I had him for a WWII course. Great guy!
Just thought it would have been sorta interesting if you'd had him!

paid down some of the debt we had from operating on reduced salary. It was super helpful, but i wish it had us 100% out of debt.
