Has anyone gone to a Tea party on Long Island...I have never been there but I know there is a place and I cant remember the name!
We want to do a 'high tea' bridal shower for one of my friends!

Oh yea totally love the high tea!
The one I have been to and where I had my shower was bayard cutter arboretum.
A place I plan to take a friend to next week is Victorian Tea Room in Farmingdale, NY

Re: Tea Party
There is the place in Levittown, a place in Stonybrook, and there is the Garden City Hotel. Isn't there a place in Islip too? I wanted to go but never did. I can't remember the names. I found the one in Stonybrook when I did a google search.

Hey Jenna, I know they do a tea service at Milleridge Inn, the Maine Maid Inn, Lady Anne's Tearoom in Levittown & Tea & Tiques in Huntington.

Tea & Tiques closed I loved that place - got all my loose tea there and they had amazing salads (chicken salad with raisins and cranberries, YUM!) - I miss it!

Re: Tea Party
I used to work at the Hidden Oak Cafe in the Bayard Cutting Arb. The Victorian Tea is so good. They can accomodate 28 for a shower.

Re: Tea Party
Sorry for crashing, but I hosted a high tea bridal shower for my sister at Milleridge Inn in the Garden Room in November. It was beautiful and everyone had a great time. Pics are in my album.
I had really liked the Bayard Arboretum, but they could only do the shower in the evening because the tea room is open to the public during the day.
