I work in NYC and right now I have GHI-CBP and that is the basic plan.... now that we are thinking of possibly having a baby in the near future, we need to get a better insurance to cover basics for the pregnancy.
What health plan do you currently have and do you about how much it costs? Or ballpark? ANy information would be helpful...thank you

I work on LI and we have United Healthcare...it's pretty good coverage...co-pay is $20 for dr visits though (I think that is a lot!!) and I know they have good coverage for babies/pre-natal care because I looked into it and I asked some of my friends. Don't know how much it costs-I just looked at my paystub and there isn;t any info on it there?- but I'll find out. Did you look into your husband's plan?

My health plan is better so DH is under my insurance ... and I tried looking online and I cant find anything I can only find the different choices in health care, but not whats covered under each plan

all of my city teacher friends, have ghi and didn't change it after they gave birth..

Do you know if they have GHI- CBP? Thats what I have, Im just worried that something wont be covered...b/c Im pretty sure there are different plans under GHI... I dont know

as far as i know they have the regular ghi -cbp there are different plans, but they didn't change anything

i would probably stick with GHI, but look into it since i dont know much about that plan
I took the BCBS HMO and it is referral and i hated it.i think it was something like 80 a paycheck
I couldnt wait to get married so i could go back on Empire UHC thourgh DH
