Teddy Bear - Toy Store question

Does anyone know where in Queens, Nassau or Suffolk that I can find a Muffy Vanderbear teddy bear? Or can you recommend any specialty toy stores or doll/teddy bear stores I can call to see if they carry Muffy? Finding one would make someone very happy for Christmas.

I'll pass this on to hubby! Actually, the person it will make very happy is me! I've been hinting to him and he was at a loss as to where to find Muffy. The info you passed on is great!

Muffy has been around for awhile, and is actually being discontinued in 2002. Every year they come out with a new theme and outfits for the bears - she has a big brother and a friend - Hoppy - a bunny, and a cat and dog. They are a bit pricy - $50 for Muffy with an outfit. I've just been wanting one for awhile (I collect teddys and have about 150) and when I heard they were being discontinued I moved her to the top of the hint list!
