We had ours at the mill pond inn in centerport. It's cute, needed redirecorating (updating) but the food and view (on the water) were incredible! We had a late lunch and the whole resturant was ours (they usually aren't open for lunch, but made an exception). The price was around $25 pp including drinks. It was a sit down meal complete with choice of soup, salad, apps., main course, and dessert. Yes, shrimp, muscles, and feliet mignon were part of the menu. Bestides for the decor, it was fantastic! I would eat there again and wouldn't have changed a thing!
Also the owner/chef was so nice and personally came out to see if everything was ok and to congratulate us.

we had ours at Villa Sorrento in St. James. The food and the service were wonderful. I beleive th cost was around $30pp without drinks. Hope this helps. Heres a pic

I had mine at La Familia in Smithtown. Everything was served family style. The food was great. They allowed me to bring in my own groom's cake (done by Just In Cakes). It is great for a casual RD, which is what I wanted. Price is based on how many dishes you want to order. It is NOT a per person cost, but rather based on the food that you want served.

We had ours at Umberto's in New Hyde Park. We had a private room upstairs and had about 30 people. It was a nice night out and the room we were in had a balcony for people to go out on.
We had no fixed price - we ordered appetizers ahead of time and everyone ordered off the menu.
The food there is excellent and everyone had a good time.

We had ours at L'Endoit in Roslyn. We had a private rooms upstairs and it was great. It was on the pricey side because our RD was on a Friday night. (It really wasn't an RD, just an dinner the night before the wedding for out-of-town family and the bridal party.

can't help you on the location but I wore an Ann Taylor black wrap dress with strappy sandals.
we were pretty lucky...b/c DH's aunt and uncle offered there backyard...and his aunt was a chef...she cooked us a fabulous dinner..and we didn't have to worry about leaving...

We had ours at La Cisterna in Mineola. A fabulous restaurants.... one of our fav's. $35 pp ... everything incl. Sorry no pics, wore a tailored black skirt & jacket ... plus a very holiday halter top underneath. Wore the jacket for church & then took it off. Such a great night ... have a great time!
