Teri

How did everything go with your car? What was the decision through the insurance company - was the other guy 100% at fault? Are you all fixed and drivable again??

Re: Teri

How sweet of you to ask Marni!

DH's car will be ready later this week - but luckily he walks to the train station each day and I have my new car so we really didn't miss it. There was $2,700 of damage to be fixed! (the car itself is probably worth $4K!) But it's a Toyota so the parts are always a little higher anyway.

As for the insurance, I'm still not sure what's going on. We're getting a check from our co this week, but not sure how we fight to get my deductible back and go through the other guy's insurance co. I use an agent, so I should call her today and follow up.
Also, I wonder if our premiums will increase?!

Hopefully, it won't be too aggreviating!!!

Re: Teri

See, I thought with insurance, that once their company looks everything over, their agent calls you and says 'ok, we think it's 70% our responsibility, 30% yours, etc.' If you agree, I believe their company pays that percentage...but if they are 100%, then it shouldn't affect your premium cause your company didn't pay anything...I'm not sure though.

Just glad everyone is ok and that this nightmare is almost over!!

Re: Teri

I know - that's what's annoying because on the police report it doesn't say who's fault it was. It briefly describes the accident and it's kinda obvious who's fault it was, but I need to call and get clarification.

Will let you know how it goes though!!!
