Happy Friday everyone!!!! This has been a tough week but we've all made it through to the other side! Hooray!!!


So, I'm not really into reality shows (other than America's Next Top Model) but I saw a whooooooole lotta status messages about Jersey Shore yesterday which kinda got me thinking about today's QOTD...


How open are you and DH as a couple? Do you keep things private? Are you an open book? When does something become 'oversharing'?

Part 2: would you ever consider going on a reality show or being a part of one? As a couple or individually? Why or why not?


We are all so different, as far as some of us being very open and boisterous and some of us being more reserved, so I'm looking forward to hearing how y'all answer!

DH and I tell each other every painstaking detail of each others' lives. Whenever we have something particularly, um, embarrassing, we'll start off with the phrase 'You know how we tell each other everything, no matter what? ...... ' We are terrible. There are definitely some things that should be kept private. DH and I just have a lot trouble identifying those things! (And Sandra, you can definitely tell that from a lot of our tweets!)

I don't think we would ever be on a reality show though. Honestly, I have no desire to do that, and I feel pretty confident in saying that DH feels the same.

We are pretty open with each other! i mean not disgustingly open where he has to tell me everytime he goes to the bathroom! but we share pretty much everything in our lives!

the only reality tv show we would go on as a couple is THE AMAZING RACE
for a couple of reasons!! we are both very competitive, and think we would do good on it! (altho im sure we will be screaming at each other alot!) i get nervous under pressure, and he gets very frustrated easily! hehe! we would make for good tv!! we always use to say that if we were on that show we would be the ROB and AMBER
rob the big a-hole to everyone and me going along with it! we would def not be the couple that helps other people out!! I would feel bad about it, and wanna help people until they screwed us over then i would be play hard!!
oh and the second reason is umm duh we wanna travel the world! what better way to do it! altho you wouldnt really be able to enjoy it! great way to see parts of the world you would have never thought about visiting!

I would do it in a heart beat! umm a chance to win a million dollars and you get to travel the world for free! we are both not scared of anything like jumping out of a plane,eating weird stuff, or even like something like shooting each other with paintballs! lol i think i actually printed out the appliaction at one point but DH doesnt think his job would give him all that time off without firing him..sooo its nice to dream about

We are pretty open as a couple. You pretty much know who we are as a couple within the first hour meeting us. I have problems...I tend to overshare! Oooops. I would say that DH is more private than I am, but probably just because he is a guy.

As for reality shows: We came pretty darn close to being on that reality show Four Weddings, but we backed out last minute. We just felt that it would put stress on me for our Wedding day and DH didn't want that. Plus, we wanted to remember our day as we remembered it and not hear any negative feedback about our wedding. Even though I know if we were on that show, we'd totally win cause our wedding was AWESOME!

i would not do a dating or love reality show but maybe the amazing race

We tell each other everything except he keeps his emotions bottled up. How he is feeling. Not his fault, his family is so unemotional. He is getting better about it. I think I tell him to much sometimes, but I don't know how to explain the line.

I would never go on a reality show. I don't like the idea of people knowing all our business, plus I know those shows are rarely reality, its all in the way its edited. With editing (my passion) you can make anything you want happen. I do however find the Meet the Newlyweds show intriguing. Its a game show more then a reality show. So that I would possibly do. The cameras in the bedrooms deter me slightly.

I would also go on the Newlywed Game, we would kick butt at that.

That's so funny - we saw that show and thought the same thing! but agree it so wouldn't have been worth it to have cameras there and catty girls judging your wedding.

I would never ever ever want to be on a reality show. Too weird for me!

so we would totally go on the amazing race or for me I think anything that involved more of a talent that didn't show all your business, like Next Food Network Star or something

as far as DH and I - we're really pretty open with each other - sometimes when I get upset I can tend to not want to talk but DH is pretty good at getting me to share - I don't have any secrets but def always have some thoughts I probably don't share and I think he's the same - mostly an open book!

We tell each other EVERYTHING. As far as being open as a couple to the rest of the world I'd say we're pretty open but we do keep some thngs private between the two of us.

I would love us to do a reality show like Real World Road Rules Challenge. I'm always saying I wish they would do a couples season!

We would never do a reality show...except the amazing race which is a FREAKING awesome show!!! DH said we would kill eachother on that show since I am so stubborn and I dont listen to him...but I told him I would just do what he said and there wouldnt be any fights...for a million bucks I would listen to him on a regular basis NO THANK YOU!!!

we're very open honest... never too honest i don't think :o) we share it all and i love that. i came from a somewhat quiet family and it was hard at times. so with me and DH, it means a lot to have that with him.

as far as a reality show... it would have to be an adventure-based show and then yes i think it'd be fun! we're very competitive and i think we'd be funny to watch because we're always pushing each other to beat the other one. but of course, on the other hand, i wouldn't want to be so criticized by people watching me :o)
