how do you and the hubby split up the chores that need to be in done in the house?
is there any particular chore that you guys fight over to do?

I basically do everything, but he washes the dishes more! lol that is actually fine with me, but i just hate when he bit-ches if the 'bed maker' doesnt come every day (bed maker is me by the way) lol he needs to have the covers neat when he sleeps and me i can sleep with have the sheets on the floor, the other half on me, lol!! and i hate making the bed!! but i do it on most days, but he feels its necessary to point it out the times i dont!

We clean up after 'ourselves' for the most part ... alternate on the bathroom. He always does the floors, I always do the living room/dining room. It's a pretty equal balance I think.

I clean and he watches pretty much!!! He actually organized our closets last weekend and I was shocked. He is good and throwing the things out and recycling but I have never seen him pick up a mop ever.

DH does 99% of the cooking and cleans the kitchen… I do the laundry and clean the bathroom. We both clean the living room/bedroom but usually me more than him.

He does the laundry, I do EVERYTHING else. So at this point I am passive aggressive about NOT doing the laundry and allow it to stack up, waiting for him!

Hmmm. I do pretty much everything. Every once in a while he'll load the dishwasher or vacuum... But i'm very specific on where things go and how things are done, so as much as i may not want to clean and cook and do laundry - I'd rather do it cause then I know it's getting done when it needs to get done and how it needs to get done.

I do laundry, clean the bedroom, living room and dining room. He cooks 90% of the time, cleans the kitchen,bathroom and does all the outside stuff.

DH does the laundry and I fold it!! DH cooks and I do the dishes. We share the yard work. Except the mowing and weed wacking he does that cause it's a 'Mans' thing!!! As for the cleaning we do it together.

I cook (duh). I do the dishes and put them away. I also do the laundry.
He takes out the garbage.
I clean the bathrooms. He vacuums.
He likes to leave glasses (drinking glasses) all over the house. I mostly just leave them where he leaves them and sometimes put them at the top of the stairs so he'll bring them down. It's kinda silly how many pile up all over the place.
The only thing we've ever discussed was him taking out the garbage. For the most part, we just get by day to day without discussing household chores. He knows someday when we get a pet, that will be 100% his responsibility and when we get a home, the gardening / outside will be all him.

i also do the laundry cause he does not know how
as for cleaning..we r both neat freaks so we both clean all the time...i came home yesterday and he was cleaning

I do everything. His only chore is to take out the trash, which I have to remind him to do. Also he will walk the dog if I ask him too. Why I have to ask? He also carries anything heavy. Lol. I make a habit of going food shopping when I know he will be home so he can carry everything in. Oh, and he cleans the snow off the cars.

DH takes out the garbage, loads and empties the dish washer and vacuums- I clean the bathroom, dust, mop or steam clean the floors (occasionally I can get DH to help if I am really busy), clean the kitchen and organize. We share the laundry and cooking. We do not fight over any particular task but I am very neat and DH is super messy so that usually causes some conflict.

I pretty much do everything cause even though i dont clean everyday when I do Im anal about how it has to be done. My DH can be oblivious sometimes and I dont know how he doesnt notice that he's missed spots, of course he could do that on purpose cause he knows i'll just do it myself! But he does cook a lot and he takes out the garbage....after Ive asked him a 100x but he is a good DH!!

Ha. I do everything. He is 'supposed' to make the bed and take out the garbage. Our bed is made maybe on Sundays, and that is it. He takes out the garbage maybe only half the nights it's supposed to be, and when it is taken out, I still have to empty the wastebaskets in to the main pail and take out the full bag, close it, and put the new bag in. I do all the cleaning, cooking, dishes, laundry. He accompanies me to do the laundry, at his parents house, and spends the evening on the computer there or watching tv. Sigh.
I wouldn't complain if I was a housewife, but I'm not, so I'm facking tired!

I vaccum dust & do windows DH does mopping & clean bathrooms. We divide up the cooking and taking out trash. And if any pots need to be cleaned by hand DH does that. Laundry gets sent out so we both enjoy that alot! lol DH does bed every morning because he gets up after me. We have a landscaper so theoutside work gets done by them. But if anything needs to be done in between DH does it. Ill help if i can. I definitely do all of the planting for the summer flowers. I love doing that. We never fight over cleaning or chores because we are both clean/neat freaks so we like it done.

Please dontget upset with me for this statement but: I think you need to really talk to DH about this. Ive seen you kinda vent over this before & rightfully so. It should be a two way street & before you begin to resent DH for this i think you seriously need to talk to him about it. I hope you do & all is good.

Well DH and I both do the cooking and cleaning up after dinner. . I def cook more than him but not by a lot. .
He does the laundry 90% of the time but we both fold and put away our own. . He does the bathroom 90% of the time.
We both do the living room/bedroom. I sweep, he mops. We both do the shopping. I know things will probably change when I don't travel so much for work. .
